goonjm
Hi,I've got an approx 6 inch stack of documents I need to get rid off after digitising the lot. Would anyone out there have a shredder I could borrow for a week or so? Aware that lots need a bit of a cool down after a few minutes of shredding, so hopefully a week would allow me to get the lot done - thanks in the form of wine and/or beer.Alternatively, anyone got one they're looking too sell? Thanks,Simon Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/117893-borrow-a-shredder/ Share on other sites
tomdhu
They also need a certain type of oil to be applied to the cutters at regular intervals. These days, because of Identity Theft, everyone should have a shredder. They are not expensive and I would suggest they might be a very worthwhile investment. goonjm
Thanks for the response tomdhu. I will be picking one up, however I'm a bit limited for space so was hoping to borrow a slightly more robust one to help get through the pile before picking up a compact model for day to day use. If I have no luck on that front, I guess I'll be resorting to slowly working through it over a week or so! Alan Medic
I have a manual one you can have. Exercises the arm muscles. Works fine but I ended up buying another one due to a backlog of shredding. It won't take up much space. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/117893-borrow-a-shredder/#findComment-1032835 Share on other sites
