Packing & Moving Company Recommendations

Hi all,

Has anyone used a packing and moving company who they found trustworthy and reasonable? I am looking at a few companies that will come in, pack everything and then move it all - but I thought it would be good to see if anyone has any experience with one.

Thanks,

:)

Jenn

Hi I used London Moving UK (Tel:020 8986 9999) though I didn't use their packing service. However they were pretty efficient at moving all my stuff and also dismantled and reassembled furniture as required.

Hi Jenn,

Last month I was helping my sister pack her stuff because her husband had to change his job location. They used Removalto and were very happy with their choice. I had the chance to see for myself that the movers were very considerate and worked well as a team. Here you can find some info about them: http://removalto.com/east-dulwich-SE22/

    • Well, I hope you like what you see, the hot air, lack of answers and continual blaming things on the last Government and the made up blackhole, I find are nauseating. The man needs to see reality, because I'd guess that if we had a snap election tomorrow and based on the first six months of this parliament, Labour would get trounced. When the election does finally happen and if that isn't before the people rise up and throw this lot out, Labour will not be voted back in for a millennium.
    • Yes thanks that's exactly the choices I get.  I will block and if somehow they find a way back I'll report.
    • Don't know, sorry. Do you use Gmail? I think that gives you the option to do both. But I'm a bit confused about the references to your phone. Have you tried googling the content of the emails, to see what comes up and if other people have had the same thing? Is the attached (in red) the options you are getting?   Blocking would stop the emails coming to you from that sender again. So you wouldn't need to go down the "unsubscribe" route if you don't want to click on unsubscribe. Reporting spam would let gmail know there's a wider problem, presumably, but I don't know what they would do then. If you are getting inundated with the same emails, doesn't sound legit to me. I would at least go for the blocking option!
    • I just want to add my recommendation for Jafar of Portrait plumbing. It's good to have such a reliable tradesman in the area.
