Any Mums fancy meeting up in Crystal Palace?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm looking to meet a few more Mums in my area...I'm up the hill in Crystal Palace ! Does anyone fancy a walk and coffee in the park here (the park play area has been re-done and is fab now for toddlers) I'm 38, on maternity leave, and I have a 2.5 yr old (very) active daughter and a 6 week old son. Going slightly mad. I have a small group of friends with kids but none are walking-distance-local and I'm sick of getting the car out ! Let me know if you are interested.

ohh please tell me about the farm. It always looked closed last summer. Daughter loveds Big Barn Farm and think tha she would appreciate animals more now than when i took her before and she was too small. Excited that the park has been done up too.

It's only a little one near the dinosaur part, it's got a couple of pigs, miniature horses, llamas, goats and a little reptile room which is quite good with a spiders, snakes and lizards. It's worth a trip if you are heading that way and then you can go for a walk. It's open most of the time, we went on a sunday and it closed at 4.

    • I've done some searching and come up with these.  The first looks very helpful for getting to know about the Hub itself, and the others may give some useful history.  I've yet to look through them myself. https://carnegielibraryhub.org.uk/
    • I'm with Octopus, and I have no idea what to do either. Finding it hard to get my head around it all. They seem to have a 15 month fix with no exit fees, however I'm not sure if I exited whether I could just revert to whatever I'm on at the moment, or whether I might find that whatever that is might no longer be an available option. I tend to just heat whatever room I'm in and/or use a heated throw. And use the microwave where possible unless I've got an oven full of stuff which I can then freeze most of.

    • ??? I feel really weak and  dizzy, I don't think it's a good idea at all to be out. And my vitamin D level is actually much too high. Last time I had blood tests, my  GP told me to stop taking vitamin tablets.  But thanks for your concern! I appreciate the advice, but I only came on here to see if other people had similar symptoms!
