strangemartin
Has anyone else noticed this particular employee? He's my favourite!*Whenever he's on duty at the self-service checkout, my heart leaps, because he just puts so much enthusiasm into his work. If the machine doesn't like my bags, or it is surprised by an item I've put in the bagging area, or my bottle of sherry needs authorising, he will be there to deal with it in a flash. He's always got his eye open for customers who need help, unlike some who you practically need to drag by the elbow to get them to swipe their little card over the scanner. One time I saw him rush over so fast he was literally skidding to a halt to avoid colliding with the customer.Anyone else noticed him, or know him? I think he should know how much his work is appreciated.*not my favourite in a sexual way; that honour goes to a unnamed blonde who I used to see around kitchenware and clothes but hasn't been around for a while. absentminded
I know the one. He's lovely! I've had some really nice chats with him while at the checkout. It's great to see someone with a good customer service attitude (if that makes sense?) sophiesofa
Don't know him but will keep my eye out. I think you should email sainsbos to pass on your praise. Pickle
Yes, I know him, and agree entirely. He's excellent, always very friendly and happy to help. You should copy the comments on this thread and email them to Sainsbury's head office, I'm a firm believer in passing on positive comments in a world where generally only the negative get highlighted. strangemartin
Why has this been moved? I don't understand how this doesn't come under "Discuss life in London's East Dulwich. Talk about local restaurants, pubs, shops, services, transport, planning, it's up to you". Vik
Is he the young one with dark hair and glasses? If so, I absolutely agree, he really is incredibly helpful, unlike a few of the girls who work on the self checkouts who are nothing short of rude!
