midivydale
You should be fine. She is not legally obliged to be in full time education until her 5th birthday. Some schools are are more relaxed than others. We have the same issue and spoke to the school our son is due to start in September. They were very reassuring and reasonable about it. SJK
Thank you, Midivydale! that is so reassuring. I don't want to hinder her progress in any way, but all the same, it is important timing! kmoon249
Our 4 year old also missed a week of reception. The school wasnt thrilled but there were no repercussions. As Midivydale said, the law begins at age 5. Get those cheaper holidays in while you can.
