these 'fines' are hard to enforce - their powers are not the same as e.g. a council warden and as such they have to rely on a breach of contract claim, this requires them to know who the driver (not the owner) is, which they don't unless you tell them


ignore their letters and it'll go away (i've done the same and after a few letters that start to threaten legal action they stop writing)

Thats rather naughty of Morrisons seeing as it takes absolutely ages to get round the store and then sometimes theres a huge queue too.


Lucky no-one stops at the cafe ;)


If I'd been in the supermarket - I wouldn't pay. if I'd been down Rye Lane - I probably would.

I also have not paid these. I refuse to even say who was driving the vehicle (motorcycle in my case).

They do not have the powers they want you to think they have.

Look up ConsumerDirect websites for advice on template letters to write them.

I did not pay and did not go to court and got a letter telling me they were dropping it.
