Nimble Tots Storytelling Classes for 0-5s this week -Boris the Bird, Cello Tunes and Canine Friends!

Recommended Posts

Only a week and a half left of Nimble Tots left before we take a wee break for the summer holidays *sniff*, so we're particularly looking forward to a (hopefully) sunny week of songs, music and interactive storytelling for 0-5s and their grown up folk!

Becky's (and cello!) sessions will ALL be about the mighty Boris the Bird this week - we all know he likes to squawk, but this week he's trying to learn a new song...can a frog, a lion and maybe even a bunny rabbit help him? Holly's Thursday classes will be inspired by 'Is there a DOG in this book?'.

Classes are, as ever, ?6 to come along, and half price for siblings over 1 (siblings under 1 go free). We do sometimes get pretty busy, so advance booking is recommended at www.nimbletots.co.uk, but if we have space, drop ins are very welcome (and generally there is more drop in room for Thursdays and earlier morning sessions).

Classes this week:

Monday - 'Boris the Bird learns a new song' with Becky

10.15am (mixed ages), 11.15am (0-18 months) at The Green, Nunhead Community Centre (next to the Old Nuns Head pub)

Tuesday - 'Boris the Bird learns a new song' with Becky

9.45am (mixed ages), 10.35am (mixed ages) and 11.30am (0-18 months) at Punk Me Up Ceramics (34 East Dulwich Road). **please note** inside buggy space is limited for busier classes, but there are pram locks in front of the cafe aplenty! If you use a sling, do bring it along, and we'll save places at the back of the mats for double buggies.

Wednesday - 'Boris the Bird learns a new song' with Becky

9.45am (mixed ages), 10.35am (mixed ages) and 11.30am (0-2s) at The Ivy House (40 Stuart Road, SE15 3BE)

Thursday - 'Is there a DOG in this book?' Nimble Adventures with Holly

9.45am (2-5s), 10.35am (mixed ages) and 11.30am (under 2s) at The Ivy House (40 Stuart Road, SE15 3BE)

2.30pm (2-5s), Nunhead Green Community Centre and 3.30pm (under 2s).

Friday - 'Boris the Bird learns a new song' with Becky

10.15am (mixed ages), 11.15am (0-18 months) at the Telegraph Hill Centre (Kitto Road, Telegraph Hill)

Looking forward to seeing you all this week!

    • Other than acting as 'interested parties' Southwark Councillors have no responsibility for water issues. And no real leverage either. Considering the complete disdain with which Thames Water treats its own Regulator, and the government, (let alone its customers) I doubt very much whether an entire battalion of councillors would have much impact. What powers could they exercise?
    • That may not be so - many on this site are experts in many areas - you yourself claim huge traffic management (or similar) expertise for instance. And I think you will find that Southwark employees are unlikely to support criticism or challenges to Southwark policy - why, you don't and you apparently neither live in, or vote in, the borough. Do you, however, work for it, as you are such a cheerleader? If not, then you are the most passionate disinterested person on this site, as regards so many aspects, not just traffic.
    • Rather than have a go at Southwark,  contact them, they will employ at least one arborist who will know far more than most people on this site. Here's one: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shaun-murphy-morris-03b7b665/?originalSubdomain=uk
    • I would look in the surrounding area as once they realise it has nothing they could sell or of obvious monatary value in it they'll dump the bag and contents.
