I need some help with my PR application, it is a reasonably straightforward one but I have 3 questions that I need clarifying. I have looked at the rates for immigration solicitors and they are very expensive. Does anyone know where I can turn with my few yes/no questions without having to spend ?500 plus? I need to save that money for my citizen application if at all possible. I have tried CAB and the home office but no luck. Any ideas?

chavwithalawdegree! What a great name

This is her posts below...but in one of her posts she was querying about changing her name with admin, maybe worth pm'ing her in any case.

I've been combing through this particular thread on immigration boards (assuming you are doing the EEA application): http://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-route-applications/application-for-pr-or-pr-card-form-eea-pr-uptodate-t183537.html

Many of my questions have already been asked, and answered, but it does take a while to go through.

If you are an EU citizen you can seek advice from the AIRE Centre (http://www.airecentre.org/pages/get-advice.html). Alternatively the Migrants Resource Centre (for all kinds of advice - i.e. asylum, EU and third country) (http://www.migrantsresourcecentre.org.uk/immigration-advice/). The Migrants Right Network is a useful source of info and links to advice (http://www.migrantsrights.org.uk/about/advice-services). Also Rights of Women (making an assumption here)(http://rightsofwomen.org.uk/get-advice/immigration-and-asylum-law/) offer a helpline.

Hi, we charge ?90 for a consultation and have a list of our other prices on our website, so if you want us to do the application for you have a look. If you're happy doing the application yourself and just want advice on the requirements etc then you might be fine just paying for a consultation.
