Another glowing recommendation for Aria. We had a new kitchen tap fitted - he quickly sourced one for me and fitted it in a morning. He was very thorough and helpful and also checked radiators for me. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Our shower/bath was intermittently leaking through the ceiling below. Aria & his brother came the same day for a quote then back that afternoon for the job. When it turned out not to be entirely a plumbing issue he arranged for a tiler to come and complete the waterproofing. Also very kindly liased with both myself & our landlord. Would recommend!
In case you've got to the bottom of this thread and still aren't convinced, I'd like to also recommend Aria and his brother. Top lads, gave great advice and also fixed the water pressure on the taps as a bonus. Good work boys!

Hi,

I have recommended Aria before but he has helped us again today after our cleaner broke our bathroom tap. He was great, even heading back out to Screwfix for us after the replacement tap I bought was faulty. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Exceptional service from the team...Daniel and Luke did a fantastic job today!

Had badly rattling radiators...changed all the ancient thermostats and emptied the system. Now working perfectly.

Aria and his team are everything you would want in a first class service...they visit you promptly, work quickly and efficiently, are very experienced, reasonably priced and are the nicest, most polite people.

I would not call anyone else.

Just wanted to add my recommendation for Aria at A.F.E Plumbing Services. Had an emergency on a Saturday and he came out within a couple of hours to fix my problem. Was very polite and helpful. Came back to install the new part once it arrived, turned up bang on time! Would use them again.
Just had a great service from Aria and his brother who came round at short notice to stop the water flow from my broken toilet. He offered several solutions in the new year to fix the toilet. I will definitely be using him again in the new year. Thank you Aria
Another recommendation for Aria and his brother. They replaced a leaking kitchen tap for me. It turned out to be more complicated than expected but they sorted it and made sure I knew what was going on. The job ended up being very quick, they cleaned up afterwards and stuck around to double check everything was OK. I'd definitely use them again.

Really great service from Aria and Dan at A.F.E, came incredibly quickly to an emergency and repaired the leak quickly and professionally with a friendly and calming attitude, highly rcommend these guys and my thanks goes out to them.

Really positive review for Aria and Daniel. I had an airlock in the system, had tried loads of ways of getting rid of it, but without luck. Aria was quick to get back to me, and responsive to the urgency arising from the potentially overflowing cistern. They came round when he said they would and worked carefully through all the routes without wasting their time or my money. They were patient, thorough, professional, and friendly. He had to go out and get parts and came back when he said he would and fixed it. Highly recommended.

Would like to add another recommendation for Aria and Daniel at AFE Plumbing Services. They installed a dishwasher for us and, as it was an integrated dishwasher, arranged for another tradesman to come (Mick) and knock out existing cupboards prior to installation and attach the door to the dishwasher.

The whole job turned out to be a slightly complicated process due to an issue with the size of the dishwasher that we had bought (it was too small for the space and Mick had to construct a box within the larger frame to secure it), but Mick, Aria and Daniel did a fantastic job.

Attitude counts for a lot in my experience with tradesmen. Aria and Daniel were keen, interested and really invested in providing a great service. The work they did was top notch and their customer service was great. They responded quickly, showed up on time and also took the time to explain what they were doing, which was really helpful for a new homeowner. Will definitely be using them again.

    • Android phone with EE network on a £10/mo sub works fine for my needs ie. WhatsApp, plenty of data, calls and texts. Can't comment on iPhone, Apple don't exist in my world. Security-wise I guess the nightmare is getting your phone nicked while it's in an unlocked state, or another thing they do is surreptitiously video you from a distance typing in the passcode then nick it. Banking on the phone sounds iffy too because the 2FA (2 factor authentication) is the phone itself, yeah right.
    • Sorry if I offended you. I was trying to be helpful. I did not mean to imply you know nothing about WiFi, but I have found as I said that connecting away from home can sometimes be difficult, especially when travelling. On at least one occasion I found that the reason I couldn't connect to the WiFi  was because I wasn't doing things correctly, and on  other occasions the problem was with the Oxford Tube WiFi. If you can connect OK to free WiFi elsewhere, would that not seem to imply that the problem is specifically with the train and station WiFi? So either there is something wrong at their end, or (if other people can connect to it at a time when you can't) something wrong at your end, which could be the phone, but why would it connect to free WiFi at other places but not on trains?  I don't have the name of a reputable phone shop, sorry. What I actually meant by that was that I would avoid shops like the many small phone shops  in Peckham. I didn't particularly want to spell that out. I'm sure some of them are fine, but my daughter had a phone battery replaced at one, and it failed very  shortly afterwards. Unless you have a recommendation for an independent phone shop from a reliable source, I would stick to the major high street phone shops? I am with iD. They have various ways to contact them, including online chat. I just had a look. You say you are classified as a vulnerable person, and their website says they have special provisions for vulnerable people? There is a link on their website to find out more. I'm not sure why you would not want to use those provisions if they might get you help more quickly? I imagine that is what they are there for? But to the best of my knowledge the WiFi problems you are having  would have nothing to do with  your phone call supplier? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I only asked the phone's age in case that was a contributing factor. If it's only 2 or 3 years old, then of course it shouldn't be.  Yes I'm having problems with my laptop, but I'm not sure why that's relevant? I only bought it in May,  it's still under guarantee,  it developed a clear fault out of the blue,  it's been a pain, and I'm very grateful to the local people who have helped. I never claimed to be any kind of technical expert, far far from it. I'm in my mid seventies and technology is a complete mystery to me 🤣 Anyway, again, I'm sorry if you were offended by anything I said, and I hope you will get things sorted out soon. Just noticed you said you have "regular scams" as well. I think we all get those, at least I do!  You should be able to report the phone number as spam and also block the number (and similarly for emails) however sadly I think it's pretty impossible to get rid of them altogether. I save the number in my contacts as spam, so if it should get through again it comes up marked as spam, and I just don't answer it. If I get a call from a number I don't recognise I do usually answer it, as sometimes it's a genuine call, but if it's spam I just tell them to eff off (except I don't say eff) and then block the number.
    • Hi everyone  I'm after a bunch of old magazines for a collage I'd like to make. If you have any you'd like to pass on/get rid of I'd love to take them off your hands! A mix of titles would be fab but anything would be great, even just one or two! Thank you  Daisy
