Hello,

We're looking for a nanny for three days a week from mid-late September. Ideally tue, wed, thur, hours 8am-6pm. Looking after our second daughter who'll be almost one then. *If possible* we would like to include pick-up and / or if doable, drop-off of our eldest (almost 4yr old then) from/to nursery just beyond Goose Green, towards Bellenden Road. The nursery is easy walking distance from our house, just off the main part of Lordship Lane.

If you are ofsted registered, crb checked, a non-smoker, reliable, trustworthy, kind, firm but fair, warm, fun, active, cook nutritious meals, and genuinely love looking after children, we would welcome hearing from you.

We're also looking for a family to share with, and think this set-up would best suit a family with a baby of a similar age to our youngest. We're happy to alternate hosting or not to host if we can find the right arrangement. Our girls are happy and fun children, and the youngest is in a good, standard routine.

Thank you.

    • Cheques are still the safest way to send money to others if you want to make a 'thing' of it. At Christmas or birthdays a card with a cheque is the most effective present to distant god children or extended family, for instance when you don't know what they have or need - made out to the parent if you don't think they have an account yet. Of course you can use electronic transfer, often, to parents if you set it up, but that doesn't quite have the impact of a cheque in the post. So a cheque still has a use, I believe, even when you have very much reduced your cheque writing for other purposes.
