boomerang
Heya everyoneNot sure if this subject has been bought up before, but - does any one know of any good gym's/Health clubs locally? I know there is a gym at the Dulwich baths, but when I went there I couldn't believe how busy it was...(people waiting on equipment!)Any suggestions apart from that one??Love living in East Dulwich but it seriously lacks a good Health Club. batdog
Hi boomerang, this issue has already been uncovered previously in this forum and I repeat once again, let's knock down the Police Station and erect a nice health club.... Jimbo
I went to Health Club at Dulwich Towers it was a bit grotty but seemed good value. They have got squash courts and an ok gym. They also have a happy hour..... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/113-health-clubs/#findComment-1043 Share on other sites

Guest
You could try Harris Sports Centre - dual use centre with the Harris girls academy on Homestall Road just off Peckham Rye. Really friendly staff, new facility and good value. They also have an excellent Sports Hall for Badminton. Guest
I am a member of Harris Sports Centre, it is excellent, its just a short walk from East Dulwich Road and the gym is hardly ever busy, as smartknight said the other facilities are a very good value. Tennis, Badminton, Gym and Classes in top notch condition, who could ask for more!!!! boomerang
Thanks for the advice guys. It is a shame there isn't a Greens or a Holmes place kinda health club..... but the idea of knocking down the cop station sounds good to me!
