Seeking a local dog-sitting and boarding service

Hi there,

I recently moved to the area with my dog Charlie from Canada and I will be beginning full-time day-time work in September. I am hoping to find a local dog-sitting service in the area for when I begin work, but also for casual sitting for the next two months as I am also working at a local pub. Furthermore I am hoping to also have boarding services for some dates within the next two months.

Charlie is a healthy 7 year old lab-mix and is sweet, sociable, and gets along well with most other dogs as well as other animals. He doesn't necessarily require a lot of attention or exercise - I just want a comforting and loving place where he can hang out while I am at work (potentially with some other four-legged friends).

I would like to find this service locally, as I don't own a car and would have to arrange pick-up or drop-off of Charlie and if I'm dropping off it will be on foot.

If anyone knows of a responsible, reliable, and caring person who offers these services please let me know and thank you for your help!

Hi

I would really like to recommend Louise. She is crb trained and trains guide dogs. Louise helped me out when we went on holiday and I needed flexible care for frank my border terrier. She suggested meeting before so she could see how her and frank got on and I thought that was a really good suggestion. Anyway frank loved her and was very well looked after. I can't recommend her enough. She said it was okay to post her number.07979 495929

I also want to recommend Louise. She regularly walks and looks after our Cockerpoo puppy and he has been to board with her and always has been very well looked after and returned very happy. Louise is really reliable, very flexible and I can't recommend her enough.

    • Yes it’s quite clear about how to get rid of them on the Southwark website. If  you don’t have a brown bin then if you don’t book a collection just chop it up!

Yes, some things have gone that I loved to use, but if you take a bit of time and are game to try new things, it’s got a lot to offer. At the end of the month we will have an accompanying app that shows you how to use what they have safely a measure progress. I’ve seen the same people as before of all ages and abilities. Don’t write it off out of hand. It’s an amazing resource that many other boroughs would be proud to have
