bzgeo
I was looking forward for the new management but after reading about it here it feels like another fusion style company or maybe even worse... at the end of the day its the council that picks up the deals and I don't trust them at all. jackz
Just to shed some light on the handover, fusion were indeed have not been very co=operative.Whispers also of current fusion managers vandalizing centre's days before SLM's contract started. Cassius
I've been in touch with the Everyone Active HO via their website and have been very impressed at how quickly I've had a response - especially when compared to Fusion. bzgeo
Any news about this place, I am interested to know if they are the same as Fusion or not. cella
So far exactly the same though the reception is looking rather crammed with merchandise. Also, similar to Fusion, I raised a query via their site and have still to receive an answer! headphonauts
Been to lane-swim twice since the handover. First time pool was in a bit of a state, rubbish and a household fliptop bin poolside. I was greeted with what felt like a warning that even as a non-member I would not be able to use the facilities in the future without a card (eg: surrender your details). Second time, what I was told was an 8" wide 'safety zone' ("cos there's only one pool attendant")had been cordoned off on the edge of fast lane, making it significantly smaller than the medium lane, which in turn was probably 50% smaller than the vast ocean of a slow lane. With barely anyone in it. Greeted again with an exhortation to fill out commercial paperwork or risk exclusion from a local authority facility. Nice to see they've taken the time to jazz-up the wall of the pool with an ad for the merchandise in reception/shop, though.Ha, and indeed, rumph. pilsbury
My feelings a few weeks in - staff the same (helpful but limited), timetable (little or no difference), reception full of merchandising and unhealthy snacks/food, general upkeep is terrible (non functioning toilets, cold water in showers and/or pool, a/c not working in the class rooms upstairs). When I get some time/energy I'm going to ask for some money back for Jun-Jul! NewWave
Ha! If you think this is bad go to Forest Hill pools run by Fusion....so badly run and maintained (pee in changing rooms, nappies etc) that I pay ?8.40 as a non member non resident to use your pool instead. : ) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/111384-ed-fusion-website-no-longer-exists/page/2/#findComment-1024790 Share on other sites
