NOW GONE

Recommended Posts

We've got an Outwell Nevada 4 family tent we bought in 2009. It's the one that came with the "kids room" inner. Sleeps 4 in 2 inner "rooms", very large porch / living area. It's roomy but not huge and is easy to put up.

It's green but the version Outwell now do is blue http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/Outwell-Nevada-4/1066. When we bought it cost about ?200 plus the cost of the footprint and now they sell for between ?270 and ?350 - ie, it's pretty decent quality.

We haven't used it for a couple of years as we were given a dutch canvas tent by a friend so the tent's been stored in the loft. We're having a clear out and I want to get rid of the tent.

It's got all the bits and poles, pegs and instructions as well as a footprint we bought separately. It's not pristine and there are some small patches of mould / mildew on the mesh which, if I were to use the tent again myself, I'd treat with Milton's fluid.

Is there anyone who'd like it for a nominal sum (?50?) Might suit a family toying with buying a tent and wanting to try it out. Might suit someone on a low budget.

If we were to take it to the tip we'd fillet out the pegs which are good quality (such as is possible with tent pegs!) and the footprint.

Anyway - make me an offer.

    • The tenancy agreement stipulates that eviction proceedings can be instigated against any tenant or a member of the household for breach of tenancy. One of the breaches is antisocial behaviour, so the Housing Officer has a duty to investigate, collect evidence and initiate possession proceedings against the tenant. When they receive a complaint, they should first call the tenant for an interview and put the complaints to them. The HO reminds them that anti social behaviour is a breach of tenancy. They inform the tenant that they will be closely monitored and that their tenancy is at risk of they continue. I know this because I was a HO and this was my job. You should go back to the HO and ask if they have done this. If they have dragged their heels on this, proceed to the Council's formal complaints procedure. Not sure of the timeline off head but if no joy after this and you are not satisfied with their response, make a complaint to the ombudsman who has a duty to investigate.

    • The more that can be done about crash for cash is to have more police and council presence in the areas where the criminals are operating to determine them. I see them circling around the Court Lane area, driving around and round in circles looking for their next victim.
