Labourer needed for tomorrow (Friday)

I'm looking for a labourer to help to prepare the room for the plasterers.

1. One sofa will need to be removed from the room and put in the front garden. I have another guy here who can help with lifting. It's on the ground floor, so no stairs.

2. One small plaster board half wall needs to be removed. This is a very small job, and I might even do it myself this eve.

3. A plaster board floating ceiling to be taken down. All plasterboard to be bagged up in rubble bags.

4. Ceiling wallpaper to be removed. I have hired in a professional wallpaper stripper from HSS, so this should make the job quicker.

This is one days work max. I will pay ?15 per hour based on an 8 hr day.

Please direct message me if this is something you are able to do tomorrow.

    • Apparently they are considered an "invasive species" so shouldn't be transported anywhere - the volunteer who took the injured parent away was technically breaking the law.  The thread is here, just shows how nothing has changed with regard to loose dogs around the lake -
    • Yes we're on Silvester road and ours is bad, it was yesterday too. Might be to do with works on Crystal Palace road?

    • I went to the consultation and spoke to Gala’s ‘Head of Sustainability’ who knew nothing about any nesting bird surveys, bats, beetles etc. He also didn’t have an answer on plastic waste, disposal vapes, or the impact on the newly recovered ground (other than the meagre litter picking). I followed up with an email to give him more time to get an answer but still no reply. Will post on here when I get one. It might help to email the licensing team at Southwark as well as take the survey.
