Sofa needed mid July!

Hi, my boyfriend and I are moving into an unfurnished flat and need, well, everything really, but a sofa is our priority since we won't be able to afford one after buying a bed! If anyone has a decent - preferably fabric rather than leathery - sofa they want to get rid of please get in touch, we would be eternally grateful! Would be able to collect after July 17th. Thanks!

  Thanks Spartacus! I'd have to come out of safe mode to do this, wouldn't I? Where do I find System Restore, to click on it? When you say at the end to open the System Protection tab, what then? And where would I look to see if I have recovery switched on? Sorry for so many questions! I'm really grateful to the friend who got me this far, and I'm terrified of now doing something which could undo all his hard work!

  Hi all, New to the area and after a recommendation please for a garage to book my car in for an MOT. It is a 17 year old VW Polo, so on the older side but a good runner. Ideally just looking to keep it going for another year and don't want to pay over the odds. Any recommendations for reliable and reasonable garage highly appreciated Dan
