Hi I am running the London Marathon on Sunday and I will be running for local charity Dulwich Helpline.

They got a free place from the mayors office, so all proceeds go the charity. I live on wood vale, and am a member of dulwich runners

I've raised ?1000 so far, and would be grateful for help to get to ?2000

I tried 50 shops in Lordship lane and Northcross road last week so thanks to those who contributed I will be publishing a list !

You can call dulwich helpline to donate direct or call me on 07973768812,

Or just wave if you see me on the day

my number is 52658, and I am trying to run 3.59!

    • According to this site, Giff Gaff is your best bet.  You only need to make a quick 25p call every 180 days to keep the sim active.  Diarise right and that's about 50p a year.   https://kenstechtips.com/index.php/best-payg-sim-for-low-usage
    • I think that's about it.  I know 1pmobile.com do £10 for 60days, or £48/yr, both of which include substantial usage if you need it. PS just checked.  £5 in it too for each of us if you want a referral.
    • Oh. I've been looking into this (online) and it seems I would still have to pay something (at least a fiver)  every month even if I wasn't using the phone, because they all seem to be 30 day rolling contracts. Have I misunderstood? I need something for emergency use only.
    • There is a reason why I think only England and Chile (no idea why) have a fully privatised national water set-up, and why the UN recognises the right to water as a human right - "the right to water entitles everyone to have access to sufficient, safe, acceptable, physically accessible, and affordable water for personal and domestic use".   Whoever is running pension funds should be shifting sharply, if they haven't done so already (and I'm sure they haven't for the most part).
