Hello,

I will be hosting a special live music night on Wednesday October 19th in Soho and I'm looking for two more artists to perform live music in the venue. The evening is an extension of ski movie screenings I have hosted over the past two years and will take the form of an apres ski night in London, with a prize draw and LCD screens around the venue showing scenes from ski movies of years gone by. The type if artists I'm looking for would be soloists who can perform an up tempo, acoustic set. PA kit can be provided in the venue with a small fee available for a 1-1.5 hour set to be agreed in advance, with promotion of your music through our website, social channels and database. I would also be happy for artists to sell their music in the venue with a capacity crowd of 200 people expected.

Interested acts should contact holmlands@outlook.com with samples of your music.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    • What would be the point of that?  It may work in a  USA style mall where there’s maybe a single point of entry and armed security people.  But here financially, it wouldn’t work.
    • I think there's a similar square-type thing around Queens Road Peckham, which has stayed in pretty good nick. It was certainly a vast improvement.  Having said that, it would be terribly sad if small businesses suffer in the process. I love the fruit 'n' veg stalls & shops on Rye Lane, and the atmosphere in general atmosphere and very much hope that a new station square and the stalls aren't mutually exclusive.
    • Shoplifting is such epidemic now that it justifies the introduction of facial recognition facilities at the entrance to retail premises. With immediate access to  a database of all known shoplifters, such a facility could sound an immediate alert to management - provided of course that removal of face masks was a condition of entry.
    • Hello,  Myself and my partner are looking to welcome an F1 Cavapoo into our home in the next few months. We are struggling to find breeders that we trust that is in driving distance. We wondered if anyone has any recommendations for reputable licensed cavapoo breeders or can put us in touch with anyone? We are happy to drive up to 4 hours from London for the right one.  Many thanks
