Can anyone advise, please, the best route into Whitehall on Saturday to watch the procession, bearing in mind that we will have a 3yo with us, although she will be on our shoulders when we are watching. Every year we say, this could be the last time, and any thoughts please on how busy it is likely to be, thank you

The number 12 bus (bus stops on Barry Road) usually goes up Whitehall but it'll be on diversion because of TTC, I would've thought it would still stop somewhere in the vacinity, and you can walk the rest, probably the quickest form of transport on the day.

It's odd because I seem to remember as a small child seated in the seats around the parade ground 1957 ish..

watching T.T.C.

..but seating is very restricted and I wonder if that would of been possible. and is it possible these days?

I would of thought it would be only available to dignitaries and invitation. ?

    • Might it be more respectful to refrain from asking this on a local forum which his family are on as if it's merely akin to casually asking if anyone has heard what's happening with the empty shop space next to Oliver Bonas or if anyone knows which dentists are taking on new patients? Christ. Google it if you're that interested. They are a real family and this isn't a Reddit discussion on a true crime documentary. Extraordinary
