online school - a great alternative

Our son has recently started with InterHigh, an online school which is a fab compromise between the rigidity of traditional school and the total freedom (and responsibility!) of homeschooling. He is Yr 8 and hated mainstream school, but is now confident, interested and enjoying school.

He has 8 subjects thro the week, lovely teachers and classmates (class of 15 kids, several living abroad) and it really suits kids who flourish on more freedom and independance and parents who don't want to fully homeschool (would have been disastrous for us). Contact me if you'd like a chat ... I want to tell people about this option as we would have been seriously stuck if we hadn't come across this by chance!
