A couple of weeks ago, I got the plainest flat of them all, but it was at a killer price so I couldn't pass on it. I want to decorate the living room because space is huge and looks quite empty and not homey at all. I don't want to invest in furniture because it will be a pain to move out later on, so I'm thinking about those wall murals which are quite trendy lately. I like the sixth picture in this article: http://cargocollective.com/geoffsmith/Wall-Murals-for-Your-Home

My question.. actually, I have several of them:

1. Is there a renter-friendly way or a "model" which I can put on the wall;

2. Where can I find similar designs at a good price;

3. Do I need to ask for permission from the landlord if it's removable and does not damage his property?

Please help me on this, it's my first time as a tenant and I really want to have it all - live in a good looking flat and avoid landlord issues.

3. you would be foolish not to check or at least check the tenancy agreement for this type of clause - but if you are 100% that no damage will be incurred to the wall by the fixings etc I'm sure that would be fine - landlords expect that tenants will want to hang pictures

I'd be interested in the answers to 2 - we also have a large bare wall at home and are looking for ideas
