3 week Buddhist Meditation Course at Goose Green Clinic from 2nd to 16th June

Recommended Posts

A three-week short Buddhist Meditation course with Jonathan Clark (Suddhaka)

This course is ideal for people who already have some experience of meditation and are looking for ways to take their practice further although newcomers are also welcome.

We will be working with the two practices of mindfulness and loving kindness.

Over the three sessions we will look at:

* Aspects of mindfulness. What are the underlying attitudes that enable us to stay with our experience in the present moment?

* Dimensions of loving kindness...exploring compassion, joy and equanimity and seeing how we can develop them in our daily lives.

* Working with obstacles...finding practical ways to recognise and work with our unhelpful habits of mind.

* Practice in daily life...how we can work with the conditions of our daily lives to sustain an effective and nourishing practice.

The course will run from Thursday June 2nd until Thursday June 16th 2016

At The Goose Green Clinic, 57/59 East Dulwich Road SE22 9AP From 7.30 to 9.30pm.

The cost is ?75 payable into Account 00115772 sort 110484 name JE Evans

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Might you have been copying someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.
    • It came from the 9bn spent on the public above inflation pay award, hence doubling it. Watch the BBC interview of Starmer and Kuenssberg, where Starmer gets absolutely decimated.
