I think TJ might be describing the Jewish family, because the family with Greek UKIP Dad is in Brighton. The camera angle makes Greek UKIP Dad look like an homunculous, which is about the only entertaining thing about them.

Haha I wondered who the polish guy was that you mentioned and as I'm a relatively recent convert to Gogglebox too, thought it might be a character I'd not yet seen. And yes, the Brighton guys gay version of Jaws was brilliant.

Sue if you're reading this, sandy & Sandra from Brixton are my favourites! I also like jenny & Lee the friends who share the caravan in Hull :))

Jeez didn't realise Brighton dad was in UKIP! His son's screechy whiny voice irritates beyond belief.

Dom n Steph have ambition beyond their amiable pantomime upper-crust drunk performance. Whether it'll come to anything is another matter.

The rest of them are happy with their ?20/week or whatever it is - and minor celebrity status.

Now the show's a bona fide hit it's going to be hard to recruit new blood without the sniff of wannabe about any newcomers.

The new faces added since inception haven't really added anything - they're obviously very wary of adding anyone who will make it 'less real' - so they're erred on the side of caution but unfortunately they've just ended-up with bland. The two sisters are bland. The Welsh couple are bland. There were another few young dudes in a houseshare (now dropped I think) who were also bland.

It's going to be difficult.

It's very true.

I guess it was always going to have a shelf life due to the format.

The dudes in the houseshare were the blandest of the bland, they lived somewhere like Reading...obvs

Steph n Dom are definitely pros and making the most of it, apparently they previously appeared on the B&B swap programme (4 in a bed?), and they've had their own spin-off prog too since Gogglebox. I didn't think the makers of Gogglebox approved of the participants cashing in like that, as the Essex guy (George) went on to Celeb Big Brother and promptly got booted off Gogglebox, although he has since returned this series. Likewise the Michaels when Dad tried to get elected for UKIP...

Much as I like the sisters, I definitely couldn't eat a whole one.

Their main chat this week seemed to be about favourite emojis, and the sad underratedness of "sassy salsa lady". A worthy cause http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn185/idiotboy77/31CEC46E-DF31-40E8-81BA-C0B0BB243086_zpsjxvzhb2q.jpg

I spotted Jaffa Cakes the other night. I'm impressed the dogs don't just snaffle them up...

Apparently there's a clip with no humans in the room, and a dog licks whatever is in the bowl, then leaves it!

I love the family with the dogs too. In fact most of the families have dogs which is nice to see!

Anyway Mick Mac do you think you could get your arse back on here to elaborate on why you particularly like Giles. Favourite quotation? Have you liked him from the start or has he simply grown on you?

That bit was funny when combined with Giles' facial expression. Not sure he was in agreement with it as a working form of democracy.

He was very funny when admitting to having added sugar to his spag bol for years - she was genuinely annoyed and he seemed a bit taken aback and wished he hadn't said it.
