SOLD - 'Futon Company' Vienna sofa bed w/ upgraded mattress & cover - ?390

Recommended Posts

We are selling our lovely solid oak 'Futon Company' Vienna sofa bed to make room for nursery furniture. The sofa seats three people and converts to a very comfortable standard double bed. It has been used as a bed only a handful of times and we use it only occasionally as a sofa.

It is the 'Vienna' model with upgraded 'Ultimate futon mattress' and 'Signature Fieldmouse' cover. It is solid oak construction throughout and has a simple, good quality and easy to use 'sofa to bed' mechanism.

The sofabed is about 2.5 years old and in very good condition. It is in our sunny second bedroom, so the cover has some very mild fading/sunspots (pictured). We have just had it dry cleaned for sale. If you'd like a new cover, you can buy a replacement from the Futon Company for ?79 (on sale from ?116 currently).

Please see attached photos (including details from the Futon Company website). For more information about dimensions and other details, please go to: http://www.futoncompany.co.uk/sofa-beds/3-seater-double-sofa-beds/sofa-bed-futon-company-3-seater-double-sofa-beds-vienna.html

?390 or best offer. (This futon with Ultimate mattress and Signature cover is priced new at ?1038, but currently on-sale from Futon Company for ?768.00). PM if interested. I am happy to answer any questions or arrange a viewing.

    • Labour was right not to increase fuel duty - it's not just motorists it affects, but goods transport. Fuel goes up, inflation goes up. Inflation will go up now anyway, and growth will stagnate, because businesses will pass the employee NIC hikes onto customers.  I think farms should be exempt from the 20% IHT. I don't know any rich famers, only ones who work their fingers to the bone. But it's in their blood and taking that, often multi-generation, legacy out of the family is heart-breaking. Many work to such low yields, and yet they'll often still bring a lamb to the vet, even if the fees are more than the lamb's life (or death) is worth. Food security should be made a top priority in this country. And, even tho the tax is only for farms over £1m, that's probably not much when you add it all up. I think every incentive should be given to young people who want to take up the mantle.
