????
Er...he's gonna trade.Let's say he put a ?10 on Switzerland at 330, profit = ?3300 if they get through the group stages they will drop and then you lay.. say they drop to 75 you then lay at your optimum trade off, someone do the maths. It's trading folks. TLS come back all is forgiven. matthew123
Switzerland are 12/1 on Betfair to qualify from their group - that is your best bet, much higher bang for your buck than closing it out by Laying it off based on them qualifying from Group.Straight bet?10 @ 12/1 = ?120 profitClose it OutBack ?10 @ 330 = ?3,290 profitthen Lay it off after qualification: -Lay ?13 @ 250 = ?3,237 liabilityand make ?3 profit Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10655-the-official-2010-world-cup-thread/page/2/#findComment-311429 Share on other sites

matthew123
Oops, I must have been looking at the wrong screen because the Swiss are actually 2.44 to qualify from group.. but still a marginally better bet.Chile finished 2nd in the South American qualifiers which is no mean feat (behind Brazil) so I guess that is why they are 1.83 to qualify from Group H ahead of Switzerland. Chile are also used to playing at high altitude so may have an advantage when they play their group match versus Spain at Loftus Versfeld, so might even win group. Annasfield
I imagine that the reason is having his op now is so he'll be fit. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10655-the-official-2010-world-cup-thread/page/2/#findComment-316349 Share on other sites

Annasfield
He hasn't been fit all season, but he's been banging them in. Gutted for the lad to be honest - scary what his form would be like if he got a proper rest over the summer and started the season fit. matthew123
Being played as a lone striker every week and playing the two previous summers has taken it's toil on Torres. From a selfish point of view I hope he misses World Cup but you have to think he is having the Op now so he can still make it.Torres usually hits the ground running (if you'll excuse the pun) on his comeback from injury. Maybe an opportunity to place your bets on him being top scorer at WC.. matthew123
I am assuming that Ratty is pleased because he saw Spain as the only obstacle to England once again becoming World Champions - rather than enjoying the fact that both players are at risk of missing World Cup through injury Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10655-the-official-2010-world-cup-thread/page/2/#findComment-316523 Share on other sites
