Also highly recommend Aston. He recently addressed a difficult issue which had three fiddly aspects… but, instead of having to juggle three different specialists, I only had to hire one Aston!

Aston 07490947355 did an excellent job in our apartment - very attentive to details, quick and accurate. He had all necessary equipment with him. We would love to have him for other jobs in the future. He is also very pleasant, polite and easy-going man.

Another big thumbs up and recommendation for Aston. He was super helpful and fitted us in at very short notice when we realised we needed to sort out the silicone seal on our shower tray to prevent a leak. As always he was incredibly professional, friendly and did a brilliant job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Aston came to re-seal our bathroom, clean the grouting and painted the inside of the bathroom window. Decided to use him after seeing a number of recommendations on the forum after we had been badly let down by a previous handyman we used to use.

Not only did Aston do an excellent job, he was polite and courteous at all times, and cleaned up thoroughly after every day. Unfortunately a lot of workmen I have dealt with in the past can come across as being rude and disorganised, however Aston was a breath of fresh air! I would therefore highly recommend him for any odd job you have around the house.

I can highly recommend Aston. He fitted several shelves in our garden shed. He did a great job, good strong shelves fitted quickly and for a reasonable price. And very pleasant to have around.

From a really easy conversation about what needed doing, to a couple of texts confirming when he was coming, to him coming round and getting on with the work, I can't recommend Aston enough.

Rebattened a cupboard, put up rails and shelves, put up two mirrors, mounted some lights on walls.

Really happy with the work done and will be trying to get some more work done in the coming months.

We have used Aston a couple of times now, most recently to hang a couple of large roller blinds. We live in an old house with no straight walls, but he did an absolutely brilliant job and made it seem very easy.
A lovely guy, arrived on time, quick contact and does a very thorough tidy job. Highly recommend.

    • Yeah, what's the world coming to when you can't even racially abuse someone or incite a riot on social media?
    • Are there any current scrabble clubs meeting in the area? Or anyone interested in getting together with other local passionate scrabblers? Searched on here but nothing re. scrabble since 2008 or so.
    • Hopefully this is the first step towards closing private schools... Families that can afford private schools could still offer their children tremendous advantages whilst in a state school such as tuition and after school activities. By locking away a small group of wealthy children in a private school away from most others we are creating a far more divided society with a real lack of empathy and understanding about the lives of the vast majority.
    • One thing for sure, if the students who are currently in private schools have to move to State schools because their parents can't afford the 20 per cent increase, and those children can't get into the top state schools, then the let's say, average state school will see a massive increase in their GCSE Maths and English attainments and EBacc performance tables.   Also, private schools have the option of preparing students for iGCSEs which State schools can't, and some believe that iGCEs in some subjects are easier or harder or about the same.  Those students changing over between Years 10-13 will be impacted the most. So I'm assuming parents will ensure, by possibly taking out a loan etc that their children get through their GCSEs and A levels, and those doing GCSEs, can easily get into a top State sixth form if they obtain the right grades. With what's being done to the pensioners earning over £13k, I don't think there will be a lot of sympathy on this issue.
