Hi

Just moved to SE22, and whilst we seem to have a plethora of indian, thai, gastropub, etc dining options there are no Japanese/Sushi Restaurants?!

I have heard of Edo in Crystal Palace ..... is it worth a trip as they dont deliver to ED?

Also are there any local gems I am currently unaware of ..... any guidance welcome?

Edo do deliver to ED - but it's free delivery only within a 3 mile range, although unfortunately the 3 miles radius rnds roughly at the junction of LL and Lordship Lane. Recommended for the Beef Teriyaki!

The 363 bus goes all the way to Crystal Palace. You can catch it in Peckham, anywhere along the Rye and Forest Hill Road and then up past the cemetary and back to the South Circular junction with Lordship Lane and then on to Crystal Palace.

Its actually a very quick journey most times - 15 to 20 min max.

    • I also recommend Energie in Forest Hill. good value and a proper mix of ages and men and women. Pretty quiet after 10am as well. Its handy for 176 and 185 buses and if you have a car the car park behind Sainsbury's is free for two hours and free all day on Sunday. You'll need to have the PayByPhone app.
    • We used John Clements at LEAD, he practices at the Tessa Jowell centre. Jon and Charlie the speech & language therapist were both great. Highly recommended.
    • I passed Malabar Feast earlier today, and it said "Under New Management" . Apart from the soggy dosas, which I don't think should be on the delivery menu, I really hope they don't change the rest of the menu, or the chef/s,  because it is our go to (bad choice of words) delivery place of choice, and absolutely everything else we have had there has been delicious.
    • Is that the right link, Ianr ? If so, I don't understand?
