Jeremy
Edo in Crystal Palace is OK. The sushi is above average (by London standards), but not cheap. The noodle and rice dishes are good value though. It's worth a trip if you have a car or bike. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1063-sushi-in-se22/#findComment-27557 Share on other sites
lordship_bod
While i'm quite partial to a bit of good sushi, i think we are more in need of a decent italian before we get to the japanese.... and yes, i know this has already been debated to death.... SimonM
>>I have heard of Edo in Crystal Palace ..... is it worth a trip as they dont deliver to ED?<<Edo do deliver to ED - but it's free delivery only within a 3 mile range, although unfortunately the 3 miles radius rnds roughly at the junction of LL and Lordship Lane. Recommended for the Beef Teriyaki! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1063-sushi-in-se22/#findComment-27560 Share on other sites

bluntlaser
Try the Fujiyama restaurant in Brixton for japanese - www.newfujiyama.com They deliver to SE22 and the food is lovely. They do sushi, ramen and noodles. Not sure what the sushi is like but their yaki soba and their prawn katsu are delicious! SeanMacGabhann
Jeremy. It takes me about ten mins by bus to crystal palace. You saying thats too much ? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1063-sushi-in-se22/#findComment-27573 Share on other sites
Jeremy
Are you at the Harvester end of ED then, Sean? Does the 197 go to Crystal Palace? Or is it another one?But if people live at the other end of ED and the journey isn't convenient, then they might be better off going into town where they can get something better and cheaper. SeanMacGabhann
I know - was just teasing... But yeah I am up that end. That said if I was Goose Green end then the train from ED or a quick hop across ED Road to catch a 63 or 363 will get you there pretty quickly as well Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1063-sushi-in-se22/#findComment-27581 Share on other sites
Parker's Folly
The 363 bus goes all the way to Crystal Palace. You can catch it in Peckham, anywhere along the Rye and Forest Hill Road and then up past the cemetary and back to the South Circular junction with Lordship Lane and then on to Crystal Palace. Its actually a very quick journey most times - 15 to 20 min max. DaveR
Sapporo Ichiban in Catford is very good; sushi, sashimi and all the other usual stuff - noodles, teriyaki etc. It's not that far from ED - admittedly we always drive. mockney piers
Vietnamese with a bit of fusion. Lovely friendly people and good food. A bit of a favourite of mine.Get the seared beef or goat with plantain and the chili eel for starters, choice morsels indeed.
