shoshntosh
dear fellow forum-itesjust a quick "farewell" message as tosh and i are heading west to the new world (new england to be exact) to raise our kids in the shadows of new hampshire's white mountains. it's been a great pleasure logging on for my forum "fixes" these past couple of years. i have to say that my new local forum (from what i've seen thus far) just doesn't compare. but then, perhaps i will feel less in awe of the incredible wit of the ED forum regulars and therefore more at home there! we yanks just don't seem to have the mental inventiveness that you all have. (see how i can blame my bluntness on my nationality?)be well, all!signing off now...shoshp.s. many many thanks to the admins for all their work on the forum -- it has been an incredible resource for us Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10624-so-long-london/ Share on other sites
brum
Sorry you're leaving us, but all the best for your future life in the US. You can always log in from there, just in case you get withdrawal symptoms....! SeanMacGabhann
These people, they speak the truthThink of Huguenot, digesting all the days postings and then firing off a volley of responses whilst we all sleepHave a great time in NH and keep in touch - you should have had a leaving party or something Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10624-so-long-london/#findComment-310475 Share on other sites

woofmarkthedog
Oh..Give it a few months "in the shadows of new hampshire's white mountains" Soon enough he'll be back for a bit of "EDF sunshine"What's the internet for after all ?But maybe though.... ...he's being given a "new identity" & his Boston based " Fed " handlers won't allow him to blow his cover. What with New Hampshire being the safest state in the US, it all makes senseI suppose though ,at least he has got "this" to look forward to"Pwwwaacck..."*blows duck call thingy, ponders what he might have done*Good luck anyway... jimmy two times
Well his Fed handlers obviously didn't do their homework cos now I know he's going to New Hampshire after flipping and ratting out his friends. Watch your back wiseguy. The Rat Protection Programme still won't stop you getting whacked. shoshntosh
thanks guys. we do have 12 bedrooms and a guest cottage over there so plenty of space for a forum field trip... (yes, i know, now i'm just bragging... but that's what you get in NH for selling a house in ED). sorry.and yes, i could log on from the US, but i think it will just make me sad and homesick, all you clever clever people having monthly drinks and exchanging witty banter. whilst i have earnest, heartfelt conversations all the time. kpc
As a regular visitor to Maine, I have occasionally slipped over the border to New Hampshire. The White Mountains are beautiful ? would love to have them on my doorstep every morning. Slightly worried by the state motto of ?Live Free Or Die? ? seems like a tough ultimatum. Huguenot
I think the Administrator simply 'is' rather than is or was something. In dealings with deities I tend to scratch my nose and take an interest in passing cars rather than address them, you know, directly. ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/10624-so-long-london/#findComment-312175 Share on other sites
