I used two different tens machines for each labour. One was a Mama Tens, can't remember what the other one was, but they both worked in very similar ways and did a good job.


Rather than rent one, I found it cheaper to buy one on the EDF and then resell after you've used it. You can usually pick one up for about ?10-?15 and then you buy new pads on Amazon (about ?8) and poss new batteries (just to be on the safe side).


The best advice I received was to attach the tens machine as soon as the contractions start.
