Interested in buying a second hand kid's bike and supporting a good cause?

The Bike Project, a charity donating refurbished bikes to refugees in London, is coming to Dulwich Festival Fair on Sunday.

We'll have:

- a few kids' second hand bikes for sale

- some cool keychains to give away, courtesy of http://www.katiesbike.com/

- a Dr Bike session run by one of our pro mechanics.

If you have an old bike you no longer need, find out how it can help a refugee in London.

  Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.

  Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
