Summer Nanny / Mothers Help Required

Recommended Posts

We are looking to hire a local Nanny / Mothers Help who can help to look after our family this summer. End of June ? End of August. We are a family of 5, Mum, Dad, 3 girls (8, 7 & 16 months) and 2 cats! We live in Peckham Rye/Nunhead.

I?m due to have an operation in early July (my husband will be off work for a few weeks to look after me). We will need someone who can work flexible hours, mostly full time, Monday to Friday. This position will ideally suit a caring person with great childcare experience and excellent spoken English.

I won?t be able to lift our little one for at least 6 weeks, so the successful candidate will be need to be very hands on with our baby, therefore you should have previous sole care experience with a under 2 year old.

Duties:

? Looking after our 3 girls, ages 8, 7 and 16 months.

? Making family meals, mainly for children.

? School run (8 mins walk away), Trips to the local park etc.

? Looking after me (within reason) after husband has gone back to work.

? Some light house work, washing etc. (we have a cleaner).

? Any other reasonable duties

Please pm me for more info or send your CV with a covering letter to [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you, Anja

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
