Bookeeper required for local business

Recommended Posts

Hi, we need a bookeeper with experience for 10-15 hours or 2-3 days per week. Hours are flexible so can be around childcare, other jobs etc.

Knowledge of the accounting software Xero would be very useful.

Other duties would include checking invoices to suppliers / staff rotas inc' holiday admin / filing.

At present the business does not have any real methods in place so we are looking for someone who is organised and can take decisions pro-actively to help shape these procedures for the future.

For the first month you will spend a lot of time with me, Richard getting upto speed. The role would initially be for three months and if the business can support the extra pay then the role would be ongoing for the future.

We are looking for someone mature, organised and discreet.

Look forward to hearing..... Richard.

Hi

My name is Leigh Bruce. I am Executive Chairman of a small charity based in Peckham, London Community boxing. We urgently require book keeping support (about one day a week) as our book keeper recently retired and the expected replacement cannot now fit us in.

Let me know if you'd like to discuss.

Regards,

Leigh

    • Firstly i do hope that the driver is not seriously injured. However this is the second time that a car has mounted the pavement on this corner of the road outside the BT building on Lordship Lane. There are not enough bollards erected on this bend to protect the public and some haven't been replaced since the last crash a few weeks ago. I fear that it could be a matter of time before a member of the public is fatally injured, as they head towards Dulwich Park or walk along that bend. Can anyone advise as to who is responsible for road safety re bollards etc along this part ?
    • Anyone looking to get rid of a sofa they don't want?
    • Yes. I must have accidentally clicked on something when I was coming out of the brightness settings after having checked the brightness was ok on the spreadsheet I was editing. And the first Which Tech person I spoke to when all this started said I couldn't have done that because the only settings on that page were for brightness. But neither he nor  I nor anyone else until now came to the what now seems obvious conclusion that I had somehow on coming out of the settings clicked on something which turned the brightness down completely to black  But as my daughter just said, why on earth would you have the lowest setting set to  no brightness at all?! Bonkers! Anyway, thanks so much again to everyone who has helped, it's much appreciated ❤️
    • A bit of a delayed review but we had a kitchen sink disaster on Christmas Day, so called Nico (after finding his incredible reviews on the ED forum) and he came over the day after boxing day. Incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and super professional. It was a tricky job but Nico fixed it within an hour. Can't recommend him highly enough.
