Flexible after school childcare required - 2 kids from Sept

Recommended Posts

Hi we're looking for a childminder/nanny to provide after school care for our 2 children from late August/September.

Our children will be aged 4 (girl) and 9 (boy) and will need to be collected from Oakfield Prep School in Dulwich - we live in ED, just off Forest Hill Road.

The childminder will need to have a drivers licence and own car, oversee homework, prepare healthy meals and get the kids ready for bed. Hours will usually be 3.30 - 7.

We have a large garden so lots of space for the kids to run around when the weather is lovely.

There may also be the occasional ask to drop the kids at school (pick up from the house at 7.45 and drop off at the school, so about 1 hour) if at all possible.

My husband is freelance so we are looking for someone who is flexible with the days/hours, but it would usually be between 1-3 days work per week.

Please PM me if interested or if you would like to discuss. We are flexible if there are specific days or times you cannot do.

Thanks and hope to hear from you!

    • The Oxfam shop refusal may be because they have very limited storage space at the back of their very small shop?
    • I agree. The staff are always lovely!
    • Hi, does anyone know anything about the generator that seems to run from 7am every day in the car park of Dominic Court off The Gardens? I live in a property that backs on to that car park and it’s incredibly noisy and fumey. It’s been there for a long time now and it looks like it’s powering a site office for construction workers. Does anyone have any information about how long it will be there for, and who is operating it? I worry about the quality of the air as it’s like having a truck running constantly. And it’s very annoying to have it rumbling all day.
    • Most charity shops will take rags for textile recycling. I’ve also donated to Christopher’s, Shelter on LL and Scope in Camberwell. The only one I’ve known to refuse is the Oxfam in Herne Hill.
