Kelliem80
Hello,I have an almost 6 week old who is refusing to sleep anywhere else except snuggled up to me all night. I was ok with co-sleeping at first but now need to think of a long term solution as I need some more decent sleep to survive a toddler and new born during the day!Anyone have a preference for the snuzpod or sleepyhead? Did it help you get some "distance" at night?Reviews welcome!(If anyone is selling either, also let me know :))Thanks! KatyLou
Hi KellieWe used a sleepy head and had a cocoonababy. Sorry Ive no experience with a snuzpod. Our little boy had quite bad reflux so the shape of the cocoonababy worked wonders for him and we switched to this when he was about 5 weeks old. It is quite tall too so we were able to have it in bed with us if he was having a bad night or put it in his cot at the side of our bed. Unfortunately we sold the sleepy head and a friend is borrowing the cocoonababy at the moment. As and when we have a second I think we would get a snuzpod as I like the close proximity it offers but would no doubt use the cocoonababy still within it. This is what our friends are doing who borrowed it. They use it downstairs for naps during the day and then put it in their snuzpod at night. Good luck. Hope you find something that works. MarianaTrench
Hi,We used a sleepyhead from newborn and had him (and the sleepyhead) in a Bednest which seems to be quite similar to the Snuzpod. We used only a Bednest for my daughter. My daughter went through a little phase of only wanting to sleep on mummy, despite the co-sleeper crib and my son had a brief spell too, albeit a lot less. He seems very cosy and settled in the sleepyhead and he is now in the larger version. With the Snuzpod they are still 'away' from you a bit but with the sleepyhead they feel a bit more 'surrounded' if you know what I mean. To be perfectly honest ? I don't think either is going to be a magic solution ? sorry!
