Damien's Bling

Damien Hirst?s latest solo show at the White Cube Gallery finished at the weekend. In just five weeks the gallery has taken ?125 million in sales. 70% of that goes to Hirst. That is without the diamond skull. They reckon that will fetch around ?50 million. George Michael is said to be interested. That's one hell of bit of expensive bling.

apparently he doesn't have to pay tax on the diamonds worth ?12 million as they're artists materials. I suppose it's a case of "Nice one Damien" or "There goes ?3 million from the public funds" depending on your line of thought.
