CLUB LOCAL ? June 10th 2016

Calling all locals who?d love a decent night out but don?t want to trek all the way into town to party with hipsters half their age.

CLUB LOCAL brings together like-minded South East Londoners for a dance night on your doorstep, DJs playing club classics you?ll know and love, whilst hanging out with people who care more about who they?re with rather than pruning their quiffs and posting selfies on Instagram.

Having had 2 totally sold-out Club Local events this year - put Friday 10th June in your diary, sort a babysitter and head to your favourite local East Dulwich bar: The Lodge, upstairs at the East Dulwich Tavern. CLUB LOCAL is the chance to get together with good friends and enjoy dance music we know you will love. CLUB LOCAL is created for you by people like you who want a no-hassle night out, locally.

2 fantastic DJs are lined up to bring you feel-good club anthems and dance floor fillers from the mid-nineties and noughties. Have a great night with your friends, dance 'til 1am and avoid expensive cabs home. We can't promise that you won't have sore feet or a hangover the next day, but we can promise an impressive sound system, a great atmosphere, tunes to take you back in the day and a free glass of Prosecco to get you warmed up.

To give you a taster of what to expect, check out this playlist: http://www.thelittlediscocompany.co.uk/#!club-local/c8qp

Craft beers and a great selection of wine available at the bar.

This intimate venue has a capacity of only 120 and tickets will sell out again, so don't miss out, invite your friends along and get your ticket to this exciting local dance event now.

Like & follow this event on Facebook to get an idea of the music we will be playing and to keep up with the banter as we get closer to the night.

Definitely recommend CLUBLOCAL - a great night out!

My partner and I are not always up for dancing, and I was concerned I wouldn't know any of the music, however there was a good mix of contemporary and cheese (for those of us who have questionable taste!) so we did indeed dance the night away.

The glass of prosecco on arrival is a welcome bonus.

Don't be disappointed, book now!

Yep me too, the night in April was fantastic; great music and a really good vibe. My friends & I had a great time and are already looking to book our babysitters so we can come in June. Such a great idea, and we really do need a dance night on our doorstep!

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Might you have been copying someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation. ================ And the para below was originally a totally new separate post but has also been merged.  Good night forum. The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
