# Heart rate monitor ? Wahoo Tickr Run

The ideal accessory if you use Strava, MapMyFitness, Runkeeper, or other smartphone apps, and is also compatible with Apple Health and Apple Watch. Has an easily adjustable chest strap.

Allows you to track your heart rate while training, as well as analysing your running technique ? I used mine to drastically improve my stride and form ahead of the Berlin Marathon. Can be used while jogging or cycling, including indoors using ?treadmill mode?.

Uses a coin cell battery; lasts up to twelve months - no recharging required (and I?ll include a couple of these in the price). Water Proof & Sweat Proof.

No longer use as I switched from running to weightlifting.

More details:

- Dual Technology - ANT+ and Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities allow TICKR to connect to smartphones and tablets, as well as GPS watches by Garmin, Polar, and more. TICKR works with iPhone 4S and later, and with select Android devices using Android 4.3.

- Personalised Heart Rate Training - Work out efficiently - view real-time heart rate, training zones and calories burned on your smartphone or tablet with compatible training apps.

- Ideal For Runners - Built-in accelerometer measures running form across three dimensions to help you improve your individual form and become a stronger runner. Treadmill mode tracks speed and distance while on the treadmill.

- Pair with Wahoo Runfit and other compatible third party apps to personalise heart rate training zones and maximise your workout. Works with over 50 Smartphone Apps including Nike+ Running, MapMyFitness, Runkeeper, RidewithGPS, and Apple Health.

- Apple Watch Integration - Pair directly with the Apple Watch to track heart rate or sync heart rate data through the Wahoo 7 Minute Workout app or Wahoo RunFit app.

    • https://www.lambeth.gov.uk/libraries-0/carnegie-library It's a nice little library and meeting place.  One of the Carnegie ones of course. Actually not so little, the actual building: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Carnegie_libraries_in_Europe#/media/File:Carnegie_Library_Herne_Hill.JPG I get books from there sometimes, and have been to an occasional talk.  Last week there was a foursome quietly playing ?bridge/whist there mid-morning. I'm afraid I don't know anything about the Hub project itself.
    • Hi,  I’m wondering if anyone needs help with their dog during weekdays? I work part time as a nurse and so I’m free Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri each week.  I have young children and we usually go for a walk in the afternoons, around 1pm. I’d be happy for a child friendly dog to tag along with our stroll if they’re home alone during the day. The kids would love it and it’ll break up the day for your pooch. I’d charge £12. I live opposite Goodrich Road Primary school, so if anyone is close by and would like some help, let me know.    My contact number is 07599352340. Hayley
    • I bloody hate "grab". It used to mean "snatch" (not in its ruder sense) as in snatch and grab, and now it's just used all the time instead of "get" or "collect". eg "I'll come and grab them later" or "can I grab a cup of tea?" Also "Up for grabs" GRRRR
