Nimble Tots storytelling, music and drama classes are back for the summer term this week!

Recommended Posts

Hurrah! We're back for Nimble Tots summer term stories from tomorrow (Monday 10th April!) onwards, with a week jam-packed full of creative classes for 0-5s all featuring stories, music and songs!

This week, Becky and her cello (with a bit of help from Boris the bird) will be telling the tale about how the rabbit got such long ears, as well as thinking about some other instruments in the orchestra, and on Thursday, Holly's Nimble Adventures will be inspired by the book 'Wendy the Wide-Mouthed Frog', with both special pre-schooler drama classes, and gentler baby sessions.

It's ?6 per class if you PAYG, siblings half price (siblings under 1 go free), or a little cheaper if you buy a 6-class flexicard (6 classes for ?33 - no expiry date but you'll still need to book in) or if you book a half term block (?5 per class, ?2.50 siblings over 1). Advanced booking recommended at www.nimbletots.co.uk but if we have space drop ins are welcome (but we do fill up quickly for some classes!)

Nimble Tots this week has a few changes as Holly is off on her holidays! But we've still got creative storytelling and music classes for 0-5s every day this week in all usual venues and times. We're very lucky to have the magical theatre maker Laura and her puppet woodland creatures leading sessions on Wednesday morning at the Ivy House and Becky will be covering Thursday's Nimble Adventures with 'This is not my hat'. At all other Nimble Tales sessions, Becky and her cello will be there as usual, this week with a brand new snake puppet and the story of Anansi the Spider, and how he helped all stories came into the world! Plus of course, shakers, songs, ukulele tunes, scarves and props...

We got pretty busy at some classes last week, so advance booking is recommended at www.nimbletots.co.uk although if there's room we'll do our best to squeeze in drop-ins! It's ?6 PAYG, siblings over 1 half price (siblings under 1 go free), or a little cheaper if you book a 6 class flexicard (?33 for any 6 classes, no expiry date).

Becky and her cello are back from holidays with the tale of the enormous turnip... Lots of cello tunes, props, songs and silliness, Becky is leading sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with Holly covering Nimble Tales on Tuesday.

Thursday's Nimble Adventures this week features Owl Babies (and NOT Dinner Time as mentioned in this week's newsletter, sorry!) with Holly leading preschooler drama for older kids, and sensory storytelling for babies.

You seem not to understand the meaning of "national debt".  Have you perhaps been relying on someone else's usage? I'm sorry to hear of Starmer's decimation.

So I've dug out the url to have another try, this time without embedding:  https://x.com/guyshrubsole/status/1858490339356533018 .  Seems ok.   in reply to my own "Where did you get this from?" response to your post at https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/353788-is-rachel-reeves-becoming-the-new-liz-truss/?do=findComment&comment=1688310, in which you again spoke of the government's "doubling the national debt". The above merging of my posts in response to Sue and to Jazzer have been done by the forum system, so there's no point in my trying again to separate them.  I've already tried editing out the merging and reposting the one to jazzer, but ended up with the same forced merge.  Apologies. Latest edit.  The moral seems to be: don't try making two consecutive posts or they'll be liable to merging.  I've now been able to post a freestanding reply to jazzer's post now that there's an intervening post.
