Electrician

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to put a recommendation here for Vince Philgence. I'll admit, I'm not sure precisely where he is based, and I live in Camberwell, but he certainly covers the SE area - I got his name through a friend who is a property developer in the Peckham/Camberwell area.

I had to get a new fuse box installed, off peak fuses switched to 24-hour supply, additional sockets added and a large electric radiator fitted and Vince was absolutely brilliant. Extremely reasonably priced (he came in over ?1,000 under the other quote we got from a bigger company!) and even did a couple of extra jobs on top of all that out of the goodness of his heart including helping with some loose wiring in our kitchen and installing a ceiling light.

Plus, just a really friendly, down to earth guy and a very hard worker. We got burned by a few electricians before getting his name through a friend, and he was a breathe of fresh air!! Highly recommend.

    • We recently had our wooden floors sanded, filled, and varnished by Nikolay, and we’re really pleased with the results. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain our options and the finish we wanted. Nikolay was a pleasure to have around—knowledgeable, respectful of our home, tidy, and on schedule. He communicated well throughout, and the final result looks fantastic. We’d highly recommend him to anyone needing floor sanding.
    • Happy to recommend Greg. He replaced an electric shower for us, at the reasonable price agreed, with minimum fuss and no mess
    • It is hard to believe this was not considered well in advance, either by the council or by GALA. Cllr Catherine Rose is adamant she wants to monetise parks, so this is a way to justify changing the event footprint  and creates precedent for yet more changes and park event creep.
    • Those fences are around the newly created bunds. I'm assuming to protect the new planting? I know Gala said on Wednesday meeting they had to put their fences around the bunds to ensure they were not damaged,  apparently wild flowers have been planted there. The flood alleviation works was to protect houses from flooding not the park,  that area of the park always floods as lowest part with river Peck underneath.  It will be interesting to see how Gala manage if we have heavy rain in May!
