Hang on Sue !. I thought you were planning on getting a Bicycle... and now there is Cycle hanger at the end of our road...

You have no excuse...

.. Bicycles and Ale are never a good combination... though it seems to be a good idea until you have to push the thing home. :)

Which suggests that it's probably a good shop name (even if it is grim). You (who I suspect has no interest in yoga and sports wear) noticed it and remembered it. That's a catchy name.

oh, but there is science involved...it's not just pretty colours and exclusive price tags. It's about ergonomically designed clothes and all sorts of other factors..

Did you know - for example "In sport, compression clothing has been designed to improve recovery following exercise and training. A similar concept applies to the tight-fitting shirts worn by a number of the teams in the finals of the 2007 World Cup for Rugby Union, with claims of increasing energy levels through transfer of ions to the body".

I quite like watching the rugby, hadn't though there was a reason for their tight tops....

I quite like the concept of www.fatladattheback.com (although it seems they specialise in cycling).

Personally, I like swimming, but wearing the right gear for sport can make you more inclined to actually use your gym membership....

I'll definitely have a look when it opens and maybe find some inspiration.

Maybe we could have a ED runners club (beginners-and-not-too-far for starters...

    • Thanks…..still convinced I can get my rent back - not vindictive person but no one treats me this way & gets away with it. Will teach them a good lesson if they get a fine - well two really - much rater have rent back. Yes, will be taking pix - already have one for mould in bedroom - now removed.
    • Take your own meter readings and properly document the condition of the property when you leave. The LL won’t have a case to claim against your deposit without a sign in inventory. Not having an EPC is largely irrelevant- if you report him he might get a fine but you are unlikely to get compensation.
    • Thank you both. Inexperience Landlord trying to save  a few pennies - hence no agent involved. The issue is the fact that it is my understanding that without an EPC that is current then they should not have rented the property - far  more to the point and taken rent from me. They commissioned an EPC 4 weeks & I am still waiting for or a copy!!! No gas in property. Well I guess it will be a case of instructing solicitors which I have tried to avoid doing but as they are not responding at all, I have no choice. If I am correct about EPC then it will cost them alot more than refunding me my rent.
    • Went there a couple of weeks ago and had their set lunch menu - very good value and generous portions. Sea bream was delicious .
