Two balls of beautiful, brightly coloured yarn made from recycled saris. A lot of different colours but base is red. Due to the source it's the 'thick and thin' kind so suitable for larger needle sizes, 6mm+. Bought from the maker in Spitalfields market. Free to any knitter/crafter who'd like it. Enough to make a good-size scarf or a couple of cushion covers.

  The solution for the cost of duvet washing is for each person to have their own single duvet like in Scandinavia. Then you can wash the duvet in your own washing machine. Get a heated drying rack if you don’t have a tumble dryer.
