Yes! Yes! Yes! Excellent shout maxxi.

That reminded me of this Kraftwerk song, which has an interesting twist.

Computer Love was originally the A-side with The Model the B-side.

After Computer Love peaked and started falling down the charts, DJs picked up on the more radio friendly sound of The Model, and the record company re-released it as an A-side single with Computer Love now the B-side.

So, take your pick pop-pickers...

Why is this thread so quiet? It's the second best one after the Rock Anthems one. Yet look at some of the other ones where you lot are talking utter bollox and see the large number of postings.

Right I am going to be contary and put forward an A side where the B one was the hit.

Morning of our Lives by Jonathan Richman. B side was alright - Road Runner, and more poppy. But A side ruled.

So good here are two versions

Forget the Damned, the Pistols, the New York Dolls, Television, Richard Void, MC5s etc this bloke is the architect behind punk.

"Go" was the lead single from the second Pearl Jam album - although it was rather a forgettable song.

However, as some kind of protest/stunt, the single came with a one-track cassette of "Animal" stuck to it, to prevent it from being eligible for the singles charts. "Animal" was a far better song than "Go"...
