Featured Event

Adding an event to the East Dulwich Forum calendar is free. You can add an event via this form. However if you want to increase its visibility, you can upgrade it to a Featured Event.
In addition to the calendar, a featured event appears will in a some extra spots around the website.
In a banner at the top of the events page. In the sidebar on the home page * In the sidebar when viewing an individual event * (* when viewing on a larger screen such as a laptop - the sidebar appears at the bottom of the page when viewing on a mobile device).
Please check the product images above to see exactly where a featured event will be shown.
When someone clicks on your Featured Event, they will get taken to a page showing the details for your event.
 
How do I purchase a featured event?
Please fill out the form at the top of this page, then press 'Add to Cart'. Here are the instructions for filling out the required details:
 
URL of the content to be featured
If you haven't already, you will need to have added your event to our calendar. Make sure you have created an account and logged in on East Dulwich Forum, then use this form.
Once your event is added to the calendar, go to your event page and copy the URL (i.e. page link) from your browser window. It should look something like https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/events/event/123-your-event-name/
Then, paste it in the "URL of the content to be featured" field.
 
Length of time to feature event
The cost to feature an event is £15 per week.
After purchase, your event will be immediately added to the 'Featured' event block. After the event finishes, it will no longer be displayed.
Note that its only possible to purchase full '1 week blocks' - there is no pro-rata discount for unused feature time. So if your event is, for example, 5 days from starting and you want to feature it until it starts, the cost will still be £15.
 
 
What else should I know?
We show up to 4 featured events at one time, so yours may not be the only one displayed in the events page header.
If there are currently more than one featured events, to make it fair, the event which gets shown first on page load is randomised each time.
There is a 'slider' which automatically changes the featured event every 5 seconds even if the page is not reloaded.#
