  1. All sorted now as we have been contacted already by the driver. Many thanks...
  2. Tonight, between 7 and 8pm a silver (could be a SKODA) car crashed into my flatmate's car and did the runner. I've heard a loud bang, looked through the window and rushed outside, but the driver was gone, down the road. It was on Crystal Palace Road (Lordship Lane end) and the hitten car was parked in front of the house number 351. I've had no time to write down the registration, but just part of it. Something like AI5 XR.... A witness said there was a child inside and almost sure thet it was a man driving. The car's headlight/lantern in the front right side is damaged (we found a piece of plastic on the floor) as it hit the bumber of my flatmate's red car. I'd like to ask, if you are the driver, please contact us. Or if you see or hear about a local damaged silver car with similar registration, please get in touch. Thanks
  3. Exactly gardenfun. A lot of random people not saving us from their opinion even if they have nothing do do with the nursery. Oh Gosh, give us a break please. As if the affected parents were not under enough stress already. I do question de necessity of going to the TV. What's the point? As we know, that was the reason for ofsted to change their mind and not give the nursery time to arrange and fix things. Not mentioning that my daughter has been going there full time for a whole year and the first time I saw this lady was tonight on itv, she didn't go there to pick him up and get a daily feedback or to check his behaviour. Instead sent his brother (also a kid) to pick him up, every time... A storm in a teacup more likely, but that's just my opinion. Enough said.
  4. Ok sweetgirl, my daughter also goes there (oh well, not anymore thanks to you, this forum and itv). Now that you had the time to find another nursery to your son, please help all the other working parents who have the weekend only to make arrangements. So unfair with some of the staff as well as they are great and your little boy who could not see a door open that we would run away, wherever, whenever. Many many many thanks.
  5. I had the same bad feeling... My pram couldn't even pass through the door to come in, how come? Didn't like the atmosphere at all, plus there was mothers doing some training apparently... Just wanted to make sure. Thanks sammi30
  6. I had my purse stolen in the supermarket as well (the coop) on Monday this week. It's so upsetting that someone could steal from a bag hanging on the pram... It was a second of distraction to get something from the shelf so it's not like I left the pram unattended or something. But now I see that it's becoming quite normal and I'm not the only one. It's revolting. Obviously I did cancel the cards and the report at the police station. Fortunately there was no cash inside, (back luck to them). The manager had a look at the cctv and it was a lady with a red scarf, that's all I know but at least she has been caught on camera. It makes you feel vulnerable and I caught myself at the time having a look inside the bins in LL trying to find it, in vain. Horrible feeling. A good tip is to carry the numbers of your debit/credit card companies in your phone so you can call immediately to block them, have a list or even a copy of the items at home and always have the bag closed... I've learned to carry as less things as possible, because of all the hassle now of doing the documents all over again. No one deserves it.
  7. Does anyone have any references about them? I saw that they are Ofsted registered but don't know much more about it. It's for my 6 mo daughter, from November. If you know something like, are they good/bad? let me know please. Thanks a lot.
  8. Do you know what? I can't understand the criticism... If wasn't any good, so why The Palmerston is always (and I mean it) always fully booked? I've tried to get a table in there couple of times without booking in advance, not sucessfully though. Then they advised me to call and reserve the table previously. Great, no problems since then... Comfort food, great staff and nice atmosphere. I am a regular. What else can you ask for? Come on folks, lets pay the price of quality. Agreed TJ.
