  1. I hope I've stuck this in the right area, but probably not. My 17 year old niece is looking for work experience in a law firm or some form of legal environment. She is hoping to work over the summer and will basically do office admin and whatever else...for free!!! If any one has any info or may be interested in taking her on please pm me. Thanks
  2. I had a midwife from the lanes (my son is 17 months old now) and I saw her for the first time at 12 weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of my midwife, she was ab fab. And up till now she still keeps in contact to see how baby and I am. Just hang in there and hopefully once you've seen her she'll give you her mob number so you can bypass the admin dept. Good luck xx
  3. I only saw this thread last night but if you make it a regular thing me and my 17 month old boy would love to meet up next time
  4. You can probably get up to date advice at www.direct.gov.uk and I'm sure there are online forms you can fill in that will tell you what your entitled to and what you can apply for. Hope that helps xx
  5. It's still not too late to attend the open day. If you are interested then just show up on the day at your choice of one of the 3 time slots(see original post).

  7. I'm so glad you brought up the LL and East Dulwich Grove crossing. I have stood at the crossing with my 7yr old,4yr old and 6month old in pushchair for what can seem like hours just waiting for an opportunity to cross. And as you said,if you manage to cross and a car wants to turn in or turn out then you really don't stand a chance. I really do think a zebra crossing is needed there. Petition time???????????????
  8. Sorry, been out of this thread for a little while now. So have any play dates been def set up. We will be free most days of the summer holidays. Once again mine are 7(girl),nearly 5(boy) and 6 months (boy). Can meet up before the holidays but will only have 6 month old Loopy
  9. The Hop Farm is a good family day out too
  10. I too am really interested. I have a 7yr old girl,4.5 year old boy and a 5 month old boy. I keep moaning to my other half that since I've had the baby I no longer have any adult company so this would be great!!
