Hi Charlie, I'm looking for someone in SE15 to fit my Swytch kit to my bike for a reasonable fee. None of the local bike shops will do it. Can you? Or does anyone know someone who can? Kathy

While I would welcome more, there is a zero waste shop in Nunhead called BYO. It's great, well stocked, but only open Wednesday to Saturday (I think).

Does anyone know what is happening at the shop that was previously Puzzle Organico? On Peckham Rye/Nigel Road?

Hi Mrs R, Would the Honor Oak WI be interested in a practical talk/workshop on Alexander Technique? I can do a one off group session. I'm an Alexander Technique teacher based in Peckham Rye. My website is atwithkathyhulme.com if you want to have a look. With kind regards, Kathy Hulme

Yeah suppose so

Because the thing that Rye Lane is really lacking is....

I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

The 'girls place' is the old tile shop which is supposed to be becoming Voodoo Ray's. The place I'm talking about is much smaller and is right next door to Mr Bao and is in the process of being done up.

There is work going on in the shop front next door to Mr Bao. It's all being done out in Gentrification Grey, anyone know what it's going to be?

I regularly cycle through the area described by this proposal and would welcome a return to a 2 way system. I frequently reflect on how the one way system must affect the businesses stranded on the island created by the triangle of one way streets, I also occasionally cycle up Camberwell Grove then down Chadwick Road, forgetting that at the bottom the option is either to cycle all the way round the system or illegally mount the pavement to go the few yards to Bellenden road (or get off an walk) - all options seeming stupid in one way or other and all in the interests of cars being able to speed up for a few metres... As for the streets being narrow, it seems that the one way streets are the wide streets with plenty of room for two way traffic and parking.

What does Lordship Lane need?

A rather posh looking jewellers has opened up on Northcross rd - at the top near Barry Rd before you get to Rye Books. I bet they would be glad of your custom. -
I've lived in this area as a single woman for 5 years. I love it and I frequently go to the park alone, the cafe is a great place to mooch and eat on your own without any hassle. The Rye Hotel is a great pub. I've got the cheapness of living in Peckham but all the amenities of Lordship lane a stone's throw away and Peckham Rye park and common are just as nice as other parks in the area, rather a hidden gem. Enjoy

What I'd really like is a trial swim, I'll ask for one, but am not hopeful judging by the comments I've seen about Jags so far.

Thanks, I'm swaying towards joining.... But still no one's said anything about the chlorine levels. Am I the only person who finds the chlorine irritates my throat? Crystal palace isn't an option for me. I need somewhere close and convenient and I don't own a car. But I've heard very good things about the swimming lessons there.

Thanks for that information. Have you ever tried going when the pool has other things going on and a lane set aside? Which seems to be quite a lot of the time according to the timetable eg between 5 and 8pm and most of the day at the weekend. Also, has anyone tried the Iyengar yoga classes?
