  1. It is indeed kels....Was out in Oxleas woods with all the dogs - really dog-friendly people there. Just lovely...nothing like a long weekend.
  2. I'm off to buy a hat! for Aliborg's wedding to Razors.
  3. What a little ray of sunshine you are Razors.....
  4. What a Good Friday it is! Big Love everyone
  5. you could make a welfare complaint to the RSPCA if you have actually witnessed the woman hitting the dog. What do you have to lose? Slims I think you have missed the point of a forum. The original OP and others have pointed out that a person is mistreating a dog and being aggressive towards people....nothing wrong with that at all.
  6. King's on the Rye had strippers as well. Apparently....; )
  7. I've lived here.....a lot of years. Never been burgled, mugged, flashed at or pissed off by buggies. Stuff I'd rather didn't happen has happened, but this is a goooood thread.....peace. And P.S I think Sly and Reggie are, in the grand scheme of things, nothing to moan about! Where's djsenior gone..?
  8. Do it Jonny!!! it's ypur civil duty to that poor dog....
  9. totally agree with PN33....it's hardly Notting Hill carnival every time, get over yourselves.
  10. Giacomelli - which one in Peckham are you referring to? Both Rye Lane and Peckham High St are always busy - although admittedly well-staffed. I agree with Indiepanda, (there is always a queue in there but) the staff are so lovely and you can browse your paper/mag while you wait.
  11. Randomly met 2 different old neighbours from years ago from Goodrich road. Had a lovely long walk in Peckham Rye with the dogs....looking forward to the theatre on Thursday to see 'She Stoops to Conquer'...congratulations louloub27 - big love....zeban - there are loads of us singletons out there you are not alone! Sunday curry from Swadesh on its way......naughty.
  12. cody Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And its SOOOOOOO anoying as they wake me up EVERY > morning , we are moving because of the noise 4.30 is definitely annoying. As is the yoga teacher who lives above me and practices her yoga at that time, or 5am every morning. But when my windows are open the birds start way before the planes.....surely not a reason to move out of ED. My Dad lives the beautiful coutryside of Bucks....right within the Heathrow flight path. So - it's off to the outer hebrides for you Cody!
  13. What a hideous experience - can't believe it. My auntie was burgled in her home opp. the Horniman museum years ago. She saw a man open her bedroom door and motion to the other man that she was asleep, which she wasn't but she was pretending to be. How she managed to stay calm while the men cleared her flat out I'll never know. You too seem to have reacted in a really brave way.....I hope you feel OK x
  14. beckyg I totally agree with you - people jumping on the anti-bull-breed wagon and making comments about 'scum' using Peckham Rye are offensive, inaccurate, pointless and add nothing of value whatsoever to the OP. I have also heard good things about Blue and his owner - through Mark Newell and others. Also there are times when my friends and I have had to step in when play between otherwise good-natured and well-socialised dogs gets over-excited and a potential problem....this is not uncommon amongst any breed of dog. All of that said My thoughts are with Morph's family and friends. I can only imagine how bad they must be feeling.
  15. Have forum will moan....at least it keeps the footie away ; )
  16. I sing to my dogs and sometimes get odd looks from others. Never been written about as being 'really annoying' though. Yet....
  17. Yay for Fuzzyboots!! :))
  18. I'm staying with Lordship Lane - Julia loves and understands my dogs, and I love her for that. I can make my own coffee....
  19. What Choc said.
  20. Good that you apologised - very offensive post.

Swadesh for all including quality and quantity
  22. The worst offenders are the people who take their dogs out in the grassy bit next to Ladlands estate in Overhill Road. It's full of it....Talk about shitting on your own doorstep.
  23. I am a dog owner, poo picker-upper, and recipient of dog poo in front garden. not much you can do. in my road, someone actually left their dog's shit on top of a council stencil.....what can you do for the poo?
