  1. Don't Let the Sun Go Down on me - Elton John
  2. Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles :)
  3. Another way to ruin the start of a young'un's day Computedshorty. And your posts are not exactly grammatically perfect...
  4. Sorry - The Effra - Kellet Road, SW2
  5. I'm still at laughing at 'fiddling around with old brasses'...
  6. The Effra in Rattray Road has amazing music nights
  7. I agree with Otta - unless they are totally responsible and don't leave burn marks, or all the rubbish behind. Peckham Rye was full of rubbish from yesterday's BBQs. The idiots had just dumped all the leftover crap next to the bins for someone else to pick up - which the foxes got to and pulled apart, enticing all the dogs that were walking this morning to cooked chicken bones and leftover nastiness. FFS why can't people take all the empties and done-withs home or to the nearest biffa in a bin liner? - they managed to get it all there. I bet they wouldn't leave their garden like that if they had one.
  8. Applespider: I did invite her round to sit in my flat so she could appreciate the noise disruption - but that would involve me going up to her flat and walking around heavily - all a bit farsical! Anyway, she ignored the request. Previous owner also invited her to do the same thing....this morning she was up at 3.30 (nature I guess) then 5.30... We both work from home - so that's a no go. I have now taken to putting notes to her with lots of, pleases....just a reminder that...thank you's....smiley faces and so on because neither of us can bear confrontation. I even bought her flowers once when I received a furious letter regarding a party but that was a long time ago. My next door neighbours meanwhile let their 3 (very sweet) children into their garden at 7am on a Sunday where they play really loud shouty games - but what can you do? Say, "sorry, do you mind not letting your children tear about their own garden in the Summer"....You can't lock 'em, in!!!
  9. I got your Number - Passion Pit
  10. The Magice Number - De La Soul
  11. I have been to Rocca 4 times, and tried different things on the menu each time. Once I had a salad with spinach and crispy bacon and the bacon was inedible. The Pasta is OK. Pizza is no better or worse than Pizza Express and not as good as a Gowlett pizza (but I know everyone likes their pizza differently), Calves liver came in a mass - with nothing but liver and a load of sauce. Starters are good. Staff are attentive. Decor is interesting...
