Burgess park path builders 'chicane'?

For cyclists, you could always use the alternative cycle route along Sumner Road, especially if you are one of those cyclists that travel at more than 12 mph - there is some danger we cyclists might loose this shared route -
Thanks Vic - ?5 per pop?

Have someone staying who want their car washed rather than doing it themselves - yeah I know! Any recommedations? How about the place on Copeland Road?

Cyclists pile on the left, motorbikes and scooters on the right and then tye latter pull over to the left knocking off cyelists.

Errr - no idea - one of the usual local IP addresses - e.g. 192.168.x.x
-
And sorry - log on to router with local address and password (you DID set one? ) change the security level, put in loooong password and reboot if needed. Then apologise to daughters and boyfriends who now cannot surf via Wifi, set up guest access and go back to listening to the Archers :-)

Depends on your router Here on our Vigor 2920 we use WPA2 / PSK Type 8~63 ASCII character or 64 Hexadecimal digits leading by "0x", for example "cfgs01a2..." or "0x655abcd....".

And re Forrest Hill, East Croydon trains go from the Perivale side? And is there a car waiting / parking area there does anyone know?
-
Yes - indeed I checked National Rail and had the same info but there are four platforms in total at Streatham Common. And it is a week day trip Just wondering about using Forest Hill as a starting point
-
Does anyone on the panel know if you have to change platforms when changing trains at Streatham Common when travelling south from East Dulwich to East Croydon? Asking for someone with mobility issues TIA all

if it is any help my usual wiggle through the back streets to Vauxhall takes my along Lynhurst Way but then across Warwick Gardens (park path), up Lyndhurst Grove / McNeil Road to Camberwell Grove, dink right / left onto the footpath, get to Grove Vale and turn right down the hill, turn left into Danelville, across into Coldharbour lane, first right into Valmar Roadand thence onto Fentiman Road, cutting right through the park to Lawn Lane and Vauxhall cross. Takes me about 30 mins from SE15 and 'tis a bit hilly on the Grove Vale section - and quite bumpy in parts if you are not careful - McNeil Road, Warner Road and the area around the building works in Patmos Road are the low lights

Local hooooooligan tearing up the place!

ah! Yes both Copplestonn and Oglander are marked with cycle contraflows but it took me nearly being taken out by another cyclist who was going north on Oglander as I turned right out of Everthorpe into Oglander to realise! As I come south I take this route as I'm moving with the motor trafic after a similar incident on Copplestone that you describe. Similar issues on Spurling Road off Goose green roundabout re cars driving straight at me and drivers yelling about me going the wrong way along a one way street. This is the kind of behaviour that makes me think of changing the signs recently seen on Southwark Bridge going north of "Cyclists get off and walk" to "motor vehicle drivers get out and push with person with red flag walking in front" -

Presume its partly about differing vehicle turning circles? Or is it just dopey bods parking at one end instead of in the middle of an available space? On the road, or on private land? If the former, the Road Traffic Act has an offence of "causing an obstruction" which would seem to be appropriate, although you would prooly need a police officer to be present at the time to report the offence. ..................... Cause unnecessary obstruction by motor vehicle - Contrary to regulation 103 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 Regulation 103 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 creates the offence of unnecessary obstruction. 103. No person in charge of a motor vehicle or trailer shall cause or permit the vehicle to stand on a road so as to cause any unnecessary obstruction. The penatly is a fixed penalty fine.....althought the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986 provide for the removal and disposal of broken down, illegally parked or abandoned vehicles police officers powers to get your vehicle towed away in some cases which means the owner will have to pay the recovery costs to get the car back. .................... Sorry if this has been done to death but thought this might be useful to some here ..... ........................................ Message from Southwark Rail Users' Group (SRUG) On 9th December the new London Overground (also known as the East London Line, ELL) arrives in Peckham and Camberwell. The day before, the South London Line service is ended. SRUG has over the last year been developing, with local users, its own rail map of our local rail connections to the Tube, showing how the new Overground service fits with our direct rail connections to central London stations. You might find it useful to have a look at this on: http://www.bellenden.net/SRUG-maps where you can download a copy. ........................................ Bicycle Accident - 2pm today

Indeed - and the argument made by LCC is that compulsion for adults will have a greater health effect than not compelling helmet wearing as those not cycling due to compulsion (ref Australian research here) will be less healthy given the health (mental and physical) benefits of cycling titch juicy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- ..... > > getting knocked off and hitting your head on a > kerb could be quite nasty too
